Privacy Policy — The Promotability Score™

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Name and email address (at signup/purchase)
• Payment information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card details ourselves)
• Your responses to the 10 assessment questions, which may include details about your job, manager, accomplishments, and workplace situation

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage data (login activity, number of assessments generated, timestamps)
• Standard website analytics (e.g., pages visited, referral source) if analytics tools are enabled on the site

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Generate your personalized Promotability Score™ report
• Send you transactional emails (purchase confirmation, welcome series, report delivery, renewal notices)
• Improve the Tool and the assessment experience
• Provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How Your Assessment Answers Are Processed (Important)

When you complete the assessment, your answers are sent to a third-party AI service — currently Google's Gemini model, accessed through the Lovable AI Gateway — in order to generate your personalized report. Your account information (email, login credentials, assessment history, and generated reports) is stored and managed using Supabase, our backend database and authentication provider (accessed via Lovable Cloud).

This means:

• Your assessment responses are transmitted to and processed by Google's AI infrastructure for the sole purpose of generating your report.
• These third-party providers process data according to their own privacy and data-handling policies, in addition to ours.
• We do not use your individual responses to train our own AI models, and we do not knowingly permit third parties to use your data to train theirs beyond their standard API terms.

4. Data Storage & Retention

• Your account information and assessment history are stored securely in Supabase, our database and authentication provider.
• Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping (e.g., purchase history, support requests), unless you request deletion.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting sheenahakimian1@gmail.com.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use cookies or similar tracking technologies to understand site traffic and improve the user experience. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict certain processing

If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR): You have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

7. Children's Privacy

The Promotability Score™ is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. International Users

Because this product is marketed on Instagram and LinkedIn, users may access it from outside the United States. Our application data is hosted in the United States (AWS US East, via Lovable Cloud's Americas region). By using the Tool, you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, and by our third-party providers (Google, for AI processing), which may process data in other jurisdictions.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including those provided by Supabase (our database and authentication provider), to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
